Reid has officially said goodbye to her diapers (except for sleeping), and I owe my thanks to this (and to a horrible stomach illness on vacation -- more on that later). Behold the princess potty. Ingeniously plays a song when something wet hits the bottom. Reid pretty much potty trained herself, motivated by hearing the song and the M&M that follows. She comes running out of the bathroom after the music saying, "mommy, I did it!" Then everyone cheers and dances. It's a riot really. Only one real mishap...the flushing of a pair of her undies down the big potty. Thankfully we escaped a call to the plumber. Proud of my big girl! Can't believe I won't be changing diapers any more. Where does the time go?
