We had a blast at the State Fair of Texas today. The weather was wonderful and the company was fabulous as always! Thanks Kelley for braving the fair by yourself. We are so glad that you and the kids joined us. Drew & Reid could not have had more fun. They loved all of it, especially the rides. Reid kept saying, "I love this!" on every ride (she even said it to Drew when they rode solo on the little airplane). Drew & Reid said their favorite part of today was the "superman ride," which is the ride where you lay on your stomach go high in the air; not a favorite of mine since going round a round in circles is a little rough for us moms and dads. It's a tie between the corn dog and the dog races for my favorite part of. It's hard to beat a Fletcher's corn dog, but who can resist a cute Jack Russel in a sequin shirt? Great day, great memories, and great ending the day with smiles on the kids faces as they recall all of the fun!
