Happy New Year

This year, we decided to head to Houston to ring in 2011. As an added bonus, we celebrated Christmas again with Grandad. Drew & Reid were very excited to see him and open their Texas football uniforms. Lots of football was played this weekend, even if it wasn't by the real Longhorns. We enjoyed a fabulous NYE weekend with the Andersons. Drew can't get enough of James & Jack. There was a lot of rough housing and nerf gun wars. Absolute delight for a 4 year old boy. Reid enjoyed the nerf guns too, but stayed far away from the tackling. Chad and I were happy to catch up with our friends, enjoy adult conversation, and a lot of good cooking by Michelle & Brian. NYE we celebrated with a gourmet dinner, noise makers, poppers and fire works. The kids rang in the Brazilian NY at 9 and the adults managed to stay up past midnight. We had a little too much fun actually. I am hoping for a great 2011 with little drama and lots of laughing. Happy New Year!
