Two things remind me of summer, baseball and swimming. There's nothing like a hot dog and a cold beer on a warm summer night under the lights. But, if I can't have that, there's always a warm summer night on the patio watching Drew and Chad play ball. Chad grew up playing baseball and loves the sport. Just as much, Drew enjoys hitting the ball with Chad in the evenings when he gets home from work. He's got quite the swing for a little guy and takes the game very seriously. As for another great summer past time, we have been spending a lot of time swimming this summer (especially now that the weather is holding in the 90s). Drew likes to put on all his swim gear and jump to Dad. Here is a funny picture of him in his goggles. He looks like a little clown and they seem painful, but Drew digs the goggles. Drew is also a huge fan of the water slide at our pool. I think he and Chad went down a dozen times this afternoon.
