On a whim, I took Drew and Reid to the Flight Museum today. Drew loved seeing the airplanes and was able to check out all the landing gear and look into the planes. He thought the tank was interesting too, although he is a little too young to explain what it is used for. After checking out all the different planes, cars and tools, we headed to a nearby Sonic to have lunch while watching airplanes land and take off from a small airport across the street. Drew thought it was pretty fascinating to watch the planes go into the sky. This was a great recommendation from a clerk at the museum. All in all it was a fun way to spend a Friday morning.
