We had a TON of rain yesterday and were stuck in doors, which made it a good day to dye Easter eggs. After Drew told me on Monday that the Easter bunny did not bring eggs, he brings "teddy grahams" (thanks Easter Eggstravaganza) we had to revisit the spirit of the holiday. What a mess! Drew and his friend Emerson had a ball dunking the eggs into the dye and splashing it every where. Drew looked like the incredible hulk by the end of the activity and I tried everything to remove the green dye from his hands, face and well, all over. Even nail polish remover didn't do the trick. To my surprise, however, one bowl of macaroni and cheese later (eaten with Drew's hands) and the dye was almost unnoticeable. What's in that stuff anyway?
