It's a winter wonderland here in Frisco today. We got about 5 inches of snow and enjoyed all of it. The storm blew in around noon and by mid afternoon it was pouring snow. Drew was very excited and was running to each window in the house yelling "snow, snow." Chad headed home from work early, and after a little creative thinking we managed to pull together suitable attire to head outdoors. Zip lock baggies and old socks work great in a pinch.
We had snowball fights and built two snowmen. Drew even ate some snow after a little encouragement from Chad. It was a fun way to say goodbye to old man winter. At least we hope he is on his way out since the big Frisco egg hunt is Saturday.
Here are a few pictures. It took a lot of imagination to come up with suitable body parts for the snow men (I don't stock up on big carrots and corn pipes), but Drew was impressed.
